Italia Pizza & Pasta

The food was excellent. We were visiting Nashville and had a fun but tiring day downtown. Heading back to the room we decided to get some pizza. My spouse has Celiacs so I googled a pizza place that was gluten free so she could get a pizza. This was the first hit and it had good reviews. Placed the order through grub hub and drove over. Traffic wasn't bad so we got their 10 minutes earlier than when our order was estimated to be ready. They had it done in 5 for us which was very nice of them. While there we order a set of cheese bread since they had that gluten free as well. We decided to eat in instead of taking it with us. The food was amazing. I ordered the whole wheat crust and it was delicious and the texture was great. The cheese was gooey but didn't fall off the pizza. The sauce as an excellent marinara and that's saying something as I usually feel tomato sauce is just tomato sauce.

As for my spouse she almost cried. The gluten free crust tastes like real pizza dough. Usually I taste it and I am like "that's not bad for gluten free" but you can still tell it's not the same. This I couldn't tell. It had all the right texture, crispness of the crust and the same but the softness for the body of the slice. You could fold it like a good New York style slice. We had to confirm it was gluten free as I was sure the order wasn't right. It was definitely gluten free. She was so happy and said "I get to have real pizza for the first time since being diagnosed." I was touched they could make her have that response.

They also have other gluten free options as well as Vegan.

If you are a pizza fan they have great regular pies, and it you have allergies they got you covered as well. We are going to go back once last time before we leave because my spouse doesn't have options that great in Cincinnati. I wanna go back bc the pizza was just really great overall.

Staff were friendly and caring as well. Sorry didn't mean to make that an after thought.

I ordered a gluten-free crust.
The pizza was fresh and delicious. I did not have any issues which tells me they tried to follow gluten guidelines and not mix ingredients.
I will order from them again

Italia has the most underrated pizza around. The crust and sauce are the best. And I love that they have a vegan cheese option! Yum!
